In November 2021 we hosted a live event (!) in Oxford with a full (and COVID-safe) audience, connective tech allowing two of our team to join the event from Berlin and Cape Town. The event was a great success, with live performers and an in-person art exhibition hosted at Wolfson College. The pandemic continues, but we adapt and grow.
Following on from the event at Wolfson, we've been working on a short film about the project, the release of which we're extremely pleased to announce! In it audiences can view excerpts from the live performances in November as well as see some of the art created by Sara Laubscher, with the AI spin-off pieces that Sara and Rob worked on together. You'll also hear about the project's foundational ideas straight from the three researchers, Chelsea Haith, Wenzel Mehnert, and Robert Laidlow.
We're immensely proud of this work, and are grateful to the team at Angel Sharp Media for bringing our project and ideas to life in such a vibrant and compelling manner.
Thanks also the Dave de Roure at the Wolfson Digital Research Cluster and to Alasdair MacDonald in the Oxford-Berlin Partnerships scheme for supporting this work.
